Kysuce have the best location from all the regions suitaed in region Zilina for tourism development. On the western front they are neighbor with Czech Republic and to the north is Poland. Region got its name after the river Kysuca. The Western part of the region forms mountains Javorniky, Highlands Turzovka and the Moravian- Silesian Beskydy and the eastern side forms Kysucké Beskydy, Highlands Kysuce and extends to Beskydy Orava.
In the region there are 4 towns : Čadca , Kysucké Nové Mesto, Turzovka and Krásno nad Kysucou and 33 municipalities. Specific natural phenomena are Javornícka part of the area are stone balls - mystery of a natural creations of sandstone and conglomerates, their origin is still unclear. Two sites hosting-tion stone balls were declared protected: Klokočovské Rocks and Megonky. Another natural phenomenon is a natural monument Korňanský oil spring with a unique natural oil seeps in Slovakia.
